Memory and nostalgia as a chemical phenomena has been interesting to me lately. It is possible to set up a contemporaneous awareness of the senses and sensitivities at work, that create ‘the good old days.’ Of course, this topic as stated so far amounts to a diving board, or departure gate to other places. For instance, what about the purpose it serves in the main? And ‘the main’ in you? Inherent in your perception of the time and place you are in, are all the ingredients to give it a particular taste, feeling, and rhythm.

They can also make poems! (and lie about where they've been)

The sails flapped
as the flappers clapped
at the clapper slap.
Blue sea to blue sky
to warm and starry,
and drape our necks
with Calimari.
