BASSACKWARDS
people would be dug up
their children would find them
if it is a good family
there will be hugs and tears
they would remember things
they would be wise
looking forward to the day they get to meet their parents.
.
in the middle years
the children would move in
the children would begin shrinking
start taking on different interests
then they would think
"someday this will happen to me
I will start changing, learning
happens to us all…"
.
still it is disturbing.
everyone is born
we get smaller and smaller
until, goodbye
but also amazing.
the way we know how to attach the cord
the way nature knows when to send it out
and suck the baby in

SPERM POEM
guys
what are we doing
pitted against each other
one lousy one of us wins
how do you like those odds!

it's good to see some of you
coming to your senses.
maybe there are others like us?
hang tight
I’ll swim up and check around

holiday classics sung by imaginary artists

The question, how can people play multiple roles in life is very funny, when you consider it arising out of a set of operations in a small part of one of a set of interdependent floating organs making up a walking city of bacteria.

(funny and liberating)

Consciousness as a volleyball in a beach party thrown by semantics.

to bring the "fastest with the mostest," life recruits your dominant hand

I was going to dream a disaster epic

but some safety inspectors called it off.

what is this, the fucking Louvre????

go for the index -- and as many references as
possible, you have a lifetime to read the book

if originality could be expressed in an equation: the undiscovered you minus everyone else… life is at raw material -- whatever would be left to work with, to be made into ‘something.’ tricky: language from ‘word one’ is a collective enterprise…as soon as consciousness learned to talk to parents and itself, it became hard-wired-unoriginal…

what is originality if you take away the expression of it publicly? Wait a minute, its meaning is relative to, and dependant on, what is already done... Wait a minute...

think v-e-r-y abstractly, expansively: consciousness wants to make a deal

, is like trying to find a corner in a fishbowl

(goldfish religion: ‘yes there is a corner,’ ‘harry finally went to the corner,’)

--nicely tormented!!
--thank you.

the rate and way ‘pages load’ in thinking, the behavior of computers and tech, internet, email, notion that mind creates ‘filler’ while it is searching, technology engendering impatience, impatience as a kind of guide or tool,

dial-up thinking

might ‘information’ held over a certain time in consciousness be not only stale, outmoded, yesterday, post useful, but in some sense-- corrosive? how does this factor in a venue that is a more long standing part of life (like one’s profession, or hobby)

falloffosy

falafelosophy

silly putty deficient

"right now, is my thinking creating filler material while it is looking for something worthwhile to think of, or a worthwhile way to think, and, although I feel vaguely aware of something not satisfying about it, do I not realize this?"
